Metalised Paper is produced by evaporation of aluminum onto a continuously moving web of paper. The process is carried under vaccum, giving a thin continuous layer of Aluminum on the paper under process.

Metalised Paper replaces conventional paper / Aluminum foil laminate in many cases. It can be used in various applications including labels, packaging, giftwrap, cigarette inner liners, publications etc. to provide a successful product differentiation.

Can I use this paper on my Printing Machine or a specific machinery is required ?

This paper can be used on any printing machine such as Flexo printing machine, Rotograveour, offset process or screen printing.

Can it be used in Food Products also ?
A:
Metallised Paper does not replace Aluminum Foil. It can be used as a substitute for aluminum foil laminates.

Currently this paper is used in label stocks, stickers, cigarrette inner linings, beer labels and packaging of confectionary products.

What is the difference between Aluminum Foil laminate and metallised paper ?

Metallised paper is highly economical and Eco friendly as compared to Aluminum Foil laminates
Q: How long does it take for the inks to dry on Metallised paper ?

It will depend upon the type of inks used, however there will not be any material difference in drying of ink on metallised versus ordinary paper.

A paper coated with China Clay & other binders to impart special finish such as gloss, smoothness, brightness is called Coated Paper.

What is the difference between chromo, art paper & art card paper ?
A:
A chromo paper is one which is coated only on one side while an art paper is coated on both the sides of the paper. When the grammage of Art paper is higher than 180 gsm it is called Art Card Paper.
